CEFGA PUTS PEOPLE TO WORK IN CONSTRUCTION
INTERESTED IN HIRING A CONSTRUCTION READY GRADUATE?
CEFGA is building a sustainable talent pipeline for the construction industry by offering entry-level construction training for participants through its NCCER-accredited and nationally recognized Construction Ready Program. This four-week program offers industry-recognized training, credentials and job placement assistance for career seekers throughout metro Atlanta and the following regions: Gwinnett, Augusta, Savannah, Macon and Columbus. The program is free to eligible applicants that reside in Georgia. Graduates are connected to construction companies who participate in the Construction Ready program through a hiring fair that is held the day before graduation.

Construction Ready participants must be 18 years old to begin the program. Construction Ready does not guarantee employment, rather provides access to career opportunities. Contractors should be aware that program graduates may be seeking job opportunities with access to public transportation until they acquire funds to secure a vehicle. All Construction Ready graduates understand that gaining transportation is a priority in order to sustain employment.
